Melinda, one of the simplest crock pot tricks you can teach your pets is (vegetarians cover your eyes) Pulled Pork BBQ. It goes like this:
1. Put a few pounds of pork shoulder and one can of root beer (I didn't say this was gourmet!) in the crock. Turn on low for 7 hours.
2. Shred that pork, draining excess juicy stuff.
3. Add your fave bbq sauce and bring up to temp in the crock.

Yum.

Tonya, perhaps you can put those kiddos to work on an apres foot massage, one per foot?

Am I bossy or what?!

Great list! I do a little of this already but some great new ideas. Thanks!

(new music: lately a lot of Matisyahu. Doesn't really go with the bubble bath, but whatever.)

Happy riding -- and apres-riding! --B

Love it! I need to come up with my own apres-training training plan. Right now it is jump in the shower, get out as soon as possible and go take the kids. I just need to change my mindset about the whole thing. Mental recovery is as important as the physical. :)
