Is that a true mixte or simply a step-through? Either way I lust it! Any chance you will add this to your Lustline?

According to the venerable Sheldon Brown: “A style of lady’s frame in which the “top tube” consists of a pair of small diameter tubes running more-or-less straight from the upper head lug, past the seat tube, and on to the rear fork ends. A mixte frame thus has 3 sets of rear stays, instead of the usual two. A variant on the mixte uses a single, full sized top tube running from the upper head tube to the seat tube, but retains the middle set of stays. A lady’s type bike that lacks the middle pair of stays is not a mixte.”

My bike falls into the variant category, since it has the full-sized top tube that extends past the seat tube into the rear triangle rather than the two smaller parallel tubes. True, the middle stays don’t go all the way to the rear fork ends, curving up a bit instead, but there are still three sets of rear stays. FWIW, if they ran all the way down, I wouldn’t be able to attach my Burley trailer with the classic hitch, and I can’t use the alternative hitches due to having a rear axle attachment for the FollowMe Tandem. Additionally, the way those stays curve up, it makes a perfect place to attach the lower mounting brackets for the Bobike seat. So the design is not only lovely, but functional and allows me to use all my various kid-hauling devices easily. :) Which reminds me that one of these days I need to get a good picture of it in full-mini-van mode (FollowMe, Bobike, front basket + panniers)
