Tang Touring Bike

I am calling this touring bike Tang, not just for it’s beautiful juicy color, but for it’s sense of adventure.  While most of us drank our Tang here on Earth, say, at summer camp, or the school playground, we knew it was the very stuff the astronauts were drinking elsewhere in the universe.  This bike has that same range.  It may spend most of it’s days riding around it’s hometown, but it was built to escape life’s mundane orbit.

A modern take on the classic touring bike, it comes equipped with fenders, racks, clearance for 35mm tires.  The S&S couplers are inspired by the kind of journey in which hopping continents by airplane or stowing away in the belly of a pirate ship are all possibilities.  And, of course, there are three water bottle cages for the long haul.  Tang not included.

  1. Lordy, that’s a lovely bike. Does it have a storage tube for Space Food Sticks (the perfect accompaniment to Tang)?
