Bicycling Magazine: Beat Stress and Custom Bikes

So if you happen to find yourself in a supermarket in Billings, Montana or a bookstore in Boulder, Colorado, or the millions of other places where Bicycling Magazine is sold, pick it up and take a slow easy walk to page 86.  There’s Natalie hard at work with a quote about why its so rad to build bikes for women.  The whole issue was oozing Portland, but it sure feels nice to be recognized.

On the digital front, we got some sweet lovin from Etsy and Cool Hunting.  Check it out!

You are officially the famous-est person I know. I checked this in at the library a week or so ago, and had no idea NAT was inside. It’s all taken care of now, though. I’ve run around the library showing coworkers, “See, this is the official issue of Bicycling for this month, and SEE! THERE’S MY FRIEND NATALIE INSIDE!!” I’ve also made a lovely color copy (well, okay, three, but that’s because I don’t really understand how our color copier works) of pg. 87 to hang at my desk. Also, I’ve put the mag back in it’s cover with the bar thingy right on your page, so when casual readers (we have lots of bikers in this town) open the cover, it falls open on your page. Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Very cool! That is great exposure; I’ll have to check out the issue.
