This is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful bike I have ever seen. I count down the days until I can have my own custom bike. And my own bike building workshop. I am drooling.

Yep, the rooster tail risk has been drastically reduced by the addition of a fender extender. Now if I could just get in a really good rain ride to test it out . . .

Thanks for the comment Paul. If you click on the main picture, you can see some other comments, and I think that you and the owner are on the same page about adding to the rear fender.

It really is pretty. The only suggestion I have is that the rear fender/flap is not long enough. C will be throwing a 20 foot rooster tail; needs top be as long as the front setup at least, easily enough fixed.

I really like the notion of reflective graphics, handy @ PBP, or anywhere on the planet after dark, nice touch!

Lil' HW Jr. rolls on 700c wheels with Mavic CXP33v rims, Campy Chorus rear hub, SON generator hub on the front, Grand Bois "Cerf" tires 700c x 28mm. And for security, a Pitlock skewer on the front so (as my grandfather would say) "you don't help a good boy go bad."

It's a masterwork. Gorgeous. I imagine it skimming happily through hills to and from Paris, decals glinting in the dark!

I am experiencing a tiny bit of separation anxiety - there was a lot of love that went into this one. It is destined for Paris-Brest-Paris, so I am excited that its gonna get A LOT of miles on it.
