Superheroes
September 10, 2006 by Austin
I was surfing the “other” BTA blog, and saw that a guy I went to college with is on the show Who Wants to be a Superhero. (We saw the pilot a few weeks ago on iTunes, and just found out that he walked away with the Grand Prize Utility Belt.)
It got us thinking: We used to have heroes all the time. Maybe it was an actual superhero who seemed a little too edgy for the Hall of Justice. Maybe it was that kid a couple years ahead of us in High School who seemed to have it all together. Maybe it was Mom and Dad somehow able to fix every injustice. But nowadays, where are our superheroes?
More importantly, where is our superhero underwear?
This was a question that Natalie asked the other day, and finding no answer, sought to correct.
Call it Under-Roos for adults who don’t want to keep their heroes under wraps.
